May Design Crushes : AAPI Heritage Month

Each week Nest Studio features a designer on Instagram as our "Design Crush". These design firms are either past clients who we love working with and deserve the spotlight, or ones we've been following and would love to see our hardware in their projects. (hint, hint!) Either way, all of these designers have an amazing portfolio full of unique projects and we are grateful to know of them!

Our design crushes for the month of May were chosen to celebrate and coordinate with Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Heritage month. This is a special month to us because our founder and creative director, Jess Davis, is a proud half-Chinese American.

So, without further adieu, meet our May design crushes!

Landed Interiors

First was Landed Interiors, founded by a burgeoning San Francisco-based interior designer Lynn Kloythanomsup

Kathy Kuo Interiors

Next was Kathy Kuo, who is mainly known for her amazing e-commerce brand Kathy Kuo Home, but also has a team devoted to interior design projects.

Jean Liu Design

Next featured was the Dallas-based Jean Liu Design, established by Jean Liu, which creates modern, edited and inspired high-end residential and commercial projects.

Young Huh Interior Design

Last but certainly not least is a long-time design crush of ours, Young Huh Interior Design. Of course we were thrilled when New York-based designer has used our Transparency hardware in a kitchen she created for the Kips Bay Showhouse a few years ago!
and here is our Transparency hardware used in Young Huh's project:
We are proud to celebrate the thoughtful, inspiring, and innovative work of Asian-American interior designers as part of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Heritage month!
